It comes after Trump told interviewer Piers Morgan that he wished the royal couple well despite not receiving an invitation. Asked whether he would like to go, he added: “I want them to be happy. They look like a lovely couple.”
He was even willing to overlook the fact that Miss Markle had once described him as a “divisive misogynist,” adding: “Well, I still hope they’re happy.”
