Princess Diana’s Final Words Before She Died In Car Crash

A royal wedding and a third royal baby is on it’s way and we should definitely not forget about Diana.

Although it’s been 20 years but still as the days pass, her memories are crystal clear and now we really know what she said before she died.

The report came from Xavier Gourmelon who was the very first person who was there at the scene of the car accident that took her life in August 1997 at the Pont de l’Alma tunnel.

The firefighter opens up for the first time about his final moments with the People’s Princess, and what she said to him before she took her last breath.

“The car was in a mess and we just dealt with it like any road accident,” Xavier relayed to British paper, The Sun.

“We got straight to work to see who needed help and who was alive. The woman, who I later found out was Princess Diana, was on the floor in the back. She was moving very slightly and I could see she was alive. I could see she had a slight injury to her right shoulder but, other than that, there was nothing significant. There was no blood on her at all.”

“I massaged her heart and a few seconds later she started breathing again,” he continued.

“It was a relief of course because, as a first responder, you want to save lives — and that’s what I thought I had done. To be honest I thought she would live. As far as I knew when she was in the ambulance she was alive and I expected her to live. But I found out later she had died in hospital. It was very upsetting.”

But beforehand, Di uttered a heartbreaking phrase to Xavier.

“My god, what’s happened?” she reportedly said before she lost consciousness.”

“Oh, they’d be thick as thieves, without question,” the 33-year-old said.

“I think she would be over the moon, jumping up and down, you know so excited for me, but then, as I said, would have probably been best friends… best friends with Meghan. So, you know, it is days like today when I really miss having her around and miss being able to share the happy news.”
