KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William were compelled to scratch off their last engagement in Sweden today before traveling to Norway to find out about the country’s future business people as a feature of their four-day Nordic royal visit.
The royal couple were expected visit Sweden’s military at an airbase in Uppsala today before making a beeline for Norway – yet substantial snow has constrained the couple to fly from Arlanda Airport in Stockholm rather, which means the engagement can’t happen.
Kensington Palace tweeted: “Sadly the cold climate in Stockholm today has implied that TRH’s trip designs have must be changed. This current morning’s engagement at Uppsala Airbase won’t proceed.”
